Social Walk

Get Out Girl Social Walks are space to take time out, get into nature and meet some awesome women; schedule time in, to take time out.

 

Your headspace is YOURS. And yet, it's easy to not feel totally in control of it; from work lives and relationships to what we think we 'should' be doing, sometimes we don't quite give ourselves the space we need to reset and refocus.

 

Demonstrating the active steps we can take to let go of the bubble of modern day life, each social walk aims to raise awareness around self care and being in community with others, while being non-intrusive on personal situations; we look to enjoy nature, shoot the breeze and remind ourselves to take time out to recharge and release the pressure.

Following local routes, each walk lasts around 3-4 hours, breaking for snacks or a picnic lunch and tea along the way. All walks are suitable for beginners, with the pace set by the nearest snail - there's no rush, it's a day to enjoy.  

 

Taking care of our wellbeing is an ongoing journey and mental health is something that requires careful attention. If you are struggling with mental health, please visit your GP or qualified professional - you may also find these resources helpful.
